Terms of service
legalReviewed: true in portal/lib/site.ts once it has been checked, and this banner disappears.1. Agreeing to these terms
By playing MazeTournament at ideaguygames.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not play.
2. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
3. Playing fair
While playing, do not:
- Cheat, use bots or scripts, modify the client, or exploit a bug instead of reporting it.
- Attack the service — scraping at volume, denial of service, probing for vulnerabilities without asking us first, or trying to reach data that is not yours.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the game, except where the law says you may regardless of what this document says.
Found a security hole? Please tell us at support@ideaguygames.com before telling anyone else. We will not pursue you for reporting something in good faith.
Availability
MazeTournament is provided as they are, free of charge. It may be changed, paused, or discontinued at any time. We do not promise any level of uptime, that a match will not drop, or that saved progress will survive every update — though we very much try.
Our content and yours
The game, its code, art, music and name belong to Idea Guy Games or our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play, and nothing more.
Anything you submit — a display name, a message, a bug report — stays yours, but you give us permission to store and display it as part of running the game. We can remove content that breaks these terms.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may remove scores that were not honestly earned. Where it is fair to do so we will tell you why, and you can appeal at support@ideaguygames.com.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, Idea Guy Games is not liable for lost progress, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from playing. Since the games are free, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us, which is nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for death, personal injury, or fraud — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Third-party services
We rely on other companies to run the games — hosting, sign-in, databases and networking. Their outages are our outages. What they do with data is described in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We will update this page when the terms change and move the date at the top. Carrying on playing after a change means you accept it.
